Hyun Kim

Litigation Fellow

Hyun Kim is a Litigation Fellow at Sanford Heisler Sharp.

Hyun Kim received his law degree from Columbia Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. While at Columbia Law School, Hyun was a James Kent and Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholar, Articles Editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review, and Public Interest Fellow. He was also highly involved in public interest law, externing for the Federal Defenders of New York and the Neighborhood Defenders of Harlem, volunteering with the NYLAG Pro Se Clinic, and publishing a portion of an article for Law in the Time of COVID-19.

Before law school, Hyun was a Litigation Assistant at the New York Legal Assistance Group’s Legal Clinic for Pro Se Litigants in the Southern District of New York. After his fellowship at Sanford Heisler Sharp, Hyun will begin a clerkship with the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

When Hyun is not lawyering, he enjoys playing tennis and watching mystery box shows.
