Jacqueline BeVier

Senior Legal Assistant

Jacqueline BeVier is a Senior Legal Assistant in the Nashville office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan, where she majored in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience, as well as minored in Crime & Justice.

Before joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Jacqueline was a felony intern at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore, where she built on her passion for social justice and civil rights by helping to represent those in need. During her time at the University of Michigan, she served on the diversity, equity and inclusion committee for Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and facilitated discussions on how people with marginalized identities experience the field of law. As part of her studies, Jacqueline volunteered at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry, a treatment center for those deemed incompetent to stand trial or not guilty by reason of insanity. Here, she educated patients on the importance of mental health and introduced them to a range of resources to ensure they maintain healthy lifestyles.

Jacqueline hopes to attend law school in the future and pursue her passion for social justice and civil rights.
