Elena Rauch

Elena Rauch is a Senior Legal Assistant in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. in Psychology with high distinction from the University of Michigan, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Throughout her life, Elena has always had an interest in law and helping those who have experienced hardship. During her time at the University of Michigan, Elena volunteered at a child advocacy center, where she assisted with forensic interviews of children who experienced child sexual abuse. She also worked in a research lab studying the lifetime effects of adverse childhood experiences.

Elena’s other previous experiences include interning for a United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan and interning for the United States Department of State, where she worked on both creating and implementing alternatives to incarceration for people with substance use disorders on an international scale.

Elena intends to attend law school in the future.
