Carrie B. Mutombo

Tom Henderson Civil Rights Fellow

Carrie Mutombo is a Tom Henderson Civil Rights Fellow at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight.

Carrie received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. While at Georgetown Law, Carrie participated in the Black Law Students Association, Women of Color Collective, and the Students of Color Circle. She practiced as a student attorney in the Georgetown Civil Rights Clinic, where she headed multiple cases involving employment discrimination, survivors’ rights, and the violation of an individual’s due process rights.

When Carrie is not lawyering, she enjoys exploring the wonderful “eats” the DMV area has to offer.
