Talia Koltun-Fromm

Legal Assistant

Talia Koltun-Fromm is a Legal Assistant in the New York Office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in political science, and double-minored in mathematics and religion & politics. Talia graduated with college honors and was elected Pi Sigma Alpha (junior year) and Phi Beta Kappa (senior year).

At WashU, Talia was an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed business fraternity. She held multiple leadership positions, such as New Member Educator and Vice President of Recruitment. She was also active within the St. Louis community, where she became a volunteer tutor for a high-schooler in the St. Louis area, and volunteered for the American Red Cross as a blood donor ambassador. Talia loves reading and writing about the intersections between law, policy, and economics. To that end, she served as a Senior Writer and Associate Editor of Undergraduate Publication at The Midwestern Citizen, a non-partisan, student-staffed opinion publication focused on law, policy, and society.

Previously, Talia worked for a criminal defense law firm, where she learned the ins and outs of the Philadelphia criminal justice system. She mainly aided in cases involving police misconduct and abuse of power.

Talia is thinking about attending law school in the future.
