Erika Rigsby is the Human Resources Manager - Talent Acquisition at Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. She received her M.B.A. from Louisiana State University Shreveport, J.D. from Nashville School of Law, and B.A. from the University of Memphis.
At the University of Memphis, Erika took a particular interest in criminology, criminal justice, and political psychology. She later worked as a victim advocate for a domestic and sexual assault intervention agency. In this role, Erika gained exposure to the criminal court system and experience in court, working directly with several Assistant District Attorneys in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee.
During and after law school, Erika worked as a paralegal on matters relating to family law, workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and labor law. Erika brings this experience and her understanding of business to her role as the firm’s Human Resources Coordinator.
