Erika Rigsby is the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, Maryland, and Georgia. Prior to this role, she was the firm’s Human Resources Manager-Talent Acquisition. Erika received her M.B.A. from Louisiana State University Shreveport, J.D. from Nashville School of Law, and B.A. from the University of Memphis.
At the University of Memphis, Erika took a particular interest in criminology, criminal justice, and political psychology. She later worked as a victim advocate for a domestic and sexual assault intervention agency. In this role, Erika gained exposure to the criminal court system and experience in court, working directly with several Assistant District Attorneys in the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee.
During and after law school, Erika worked as a paralegal on matters relating to family law, workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and labor law. Erika brings this experience and her understanding of business and Human Resources to her role as the firm’s Director of Talent Acquisition and Development.
