Judith A. Murphy is Of Counsel Secretary at Sanford Heisler Sharp, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Judith began her career as a legal secretary at a Wall Street law firm that advertised the position with “no experience required.” She has learned everything about how to support attorneys from experience, hard work, and excellent mentors.
Throughout her career, Judith has worked for both corporate law firms and individual practitioners. Her career highlights include serving as legal secretary for the General Counsel of a shipping company, NBC’s General Counsel in the 1980s, and, most recently, Paul Knight.
When not working, Judith enjoys gardening and sewing, and has a passion for rescuing and training dogs.
