Chloe Arons is a Legal Assistant in the New York office of Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland.

Chloe graduated summa cum laude from Bates College with a B.A. in politics and a minor in history. She was also inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. At Bates College, Chloe completed a senior thesis titled “Feminine, not Feminist: Analyzing Populism in Argentina and its Unique Gendered Influence on Political Leadership and Discourse,” which detailed how female populist leaders in Argentina rejected the feminist lens while seeking to advance certain aspects of gender equality. At Bates, Chloe also served as senior class co-president, an outdoor orientation leader, and an active member of the Bates dance program.

Chloe participated in the Cambridge Security Initiative’s International Security and Intelligence Programme in the summer of 2022. During the program, she connected with and learned from international security and intelligence experts from around the globe and completed a research project addressing the structural, strategic, and stigma-associated challenges that Ukrainian women face when seeking to serve their country. Chloe has also completed internships with the PR firm BerlinRosen, the Israeli equal rights organization Itach-Maaki: Women Lawyers for Social Justice, and New Jersey Representative Mikie Sherrill.

Chloe plans to attend law school in the future.
