The attorneys and staff at Sanford Heisler Sharp are profoundly saddened by the passing of National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) Founder Paul H. Tobias.
Chairman David Sanford said, “I worked with Paul closely for years (in the late 90s and early 00s) litigating two race discrimination class actions in Ohio. In that context, I got to know Paul as a legal visionary, committed social justice warrior, and one of the sweetest souls I have ever known. Paul always made himself available to discuss legal theories, client complications, and strategic considerations. I always felt I was in the presence of a genuinely passionate advocate who placed the client first and who was determined, even at great personal cost, to do the right thing. We have lost a legal giant. I will miss Paul every day for the rest of my life.”
