USA, January 13, 2025 — Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, a national public interest and civil rights law firm, today announced Benchmark Litigation has shortlisted the firm and one of its New York partners for two prestigious annual litigation awards.
The 2025 Benchmark U.S. Litigation Guide named Russell Kornblith, the firm’s General Counsel and Co-Chair of its Executive Representation Practice Group, among five finalists for recognition as “Labor and Employment Litigator of the Year.” The Guide also named the firm among its five finalists for recognition as the nation’s top “Labor and Employment Law Firm of the Year.”
“Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight is honored to have again earned Benchmark Litigation’s recognition as a finalist in labor and employment law,” said David Sanford, the firm’s Co-Founder and Chairman. “Our lawyers had a successful year representing plaintiffs in significant employment, whistleblower, ERISA, and disability rights disputes.”

According to Benchmark, its 2025 selection process included “months of peer review-based research and hundreds of submissions. “We are excited to recognize the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their exemplary work over the past 12 months,” the publication said in its announcement of finalists.
The final winner in each litigation practice will be named March 6 at the publication’s U.S. Awards ceremony in New York City.
