Investigation Underway: Labor Practices At Nike

On Behalf of | May 19, 2023 | Employment Law

Sanford Heisler Sharp is conducting an investigation into labor practices and policies at Nike. We are specifically interested in speaking with current and former workers who are classified as the following:

  • Independent contractors
  • 1099 workers
  • Temporary workers
  • Freelancers
  • Employees of outside staffing agencies
  • Workers providing project-based services
  • Staff augmentation workers
  • ETWs
  • Other non-W2 employees in positions of other names

Our investigation aims to determine if these workers have been misclassified and if they may be entitled to compensation or benefits such as overtime, meal and rest breaks, sick leave, paid time off, healthcare, retirement benefits, and more.

As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from any Nike workers who may have information about the company’s practices in employing external workers as non-employees. If you are a current or former Nike worker with relevant information, we encourage you to reach out to us.
