Sanford Heisler Sharp Promotes Felicia Gilbert to San Francisco Managing Partner

January 8, 2020, New York— Sanford Heisler Sharp, a leading national public interest law firm with offices in New York, Washington, DC, San Francisco, San Diego, and Nashville, has promoted Felicia Gilbert to Partner and named her Managing Partner of its San Francisco office.

A 2010 graduate of Columbia Law School, Gilbert was named Managing Attorney of the firm’s San Francisco office in December 2018. Since joining Sanford Heisler Sharp Gilbert has litigated and settled several cases on behalf of employees in individual and class actions involving race, gender, and pregnancy discrimination.

Before joining the firm in 2016, Gilbert was an Associate at Morrison and Foerster, LLP, where her practice involved a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts. During her tenure at MoFo, Gilbert was a member of the trial team named 2013 “Attorneys of the Year” in civil rights law by California Lawyer Magazine for representing the family of an unarmed man fatally shot by a police officer in a Section 1983 federal civil rights lawsuit against a California municipality.

In addition, the firm promoted Leigh Anne St. Charles from Associate to Senior Litigation Counsel and promoted Rob Van Someren GreveShaun Rosenthal, and Jonathan Tepe from Litigation Fellow to Associate. The firm also promoted Alec Konstantin and named him its first Director of Operations.
